As a supplier of antimicrobial additives to numerous UK-based as well as global plastics manufacturers, BioCote® is a proud member of the British Plastics Federation (BPF).

About the BPF

Since 1933, the British Plastics Federation (BPF) has represented the UK plastics sector, making it the world’s oldest plastics trade association. Its goal is to promote a flourishing, prosperous plastics sector in the UK by acting on the behalf of the whole supply chain.

The history, scope, reputation and 30 members of dedicated staff all come together to allow the Federation to work tirelessly on promoting the UK plastics sector at home and abroad. BPF not only helps shape policy and advances the education and skills within the industry but also hosts events and promotes the benefits of using plastic all in a bid to help innovate the plastics industry.

Some of BPF’s latest projects include namely the BPF Parliamentary reception at the House of Commons and ‘Brexit Taskforce’ which was established in September 2016 as a response to Brexit. Since then, the BPF has published numerous documents, webinars, factsheets, offered legal help and an opportunity to work directly with key government departments to ensure the best possible Brexit for the plastics industry.
