The BioCote® Detection System (BDS) is a simple tool that can be used to identify the presence of BioCote® antimicrobial technology in a product or a material.
BDS can be incorporated into most BioCote® additives without changing the properties or appearance of the product. BioCote® additives which contain BDS can be detected on the surface of products using a laser pen that shines green when it is present.
With BDS, manufacturers who utilise BioCote® technology can verify its presence quickly and easily. This makes it ideal as a means of quality control on the production line and can also help prevent counterfeit technologies.
As a sales tool, BDS adds a new level of tangibility to BioCote® protection, allowing you to show your customers the presence of the technology on your product’s surface.
